Lifting KnowHow Logo

Lifting beams are a type of two-dimensional spreader beam designed for use with two or more load attachment points aligned in a straight line. When the load is symmetrically attached at two points, each attachment point carries 50% of the load. In cases where the attachment points are adjustable, they can be positioned so that the crane hook is offset from the geometric center, allowing for safe lifting of asymmetrical loads. It’s crucial to ensure that attachment points closer to the crane hook, and their corresponding lifting gear, bear more weight than those farther away.
