Another type of two-dimensional lifting beam is the lifting plate. Unlike traditional welded constructions with support profiles, lifting plates are made from flame-cut components. These plates feature integrated lifting eyes or shackle holes for attaching the crane and load. A common variation of this design is the load rocker.
Lifting plate spreaders are particularly narrow, making them highly space-efficient and easy to store.
