Spooling, inspection and control
Certex Norge has experienced and qualified operators for spooling, inspections, and control of steel wire ropes, both onshore and offshore. Our warehouse has a wide selection of steel wire ropes and crane wires, with spooling devices and equipment in various sizes and capacities. We also perform casting/retermination of sockets on crane and towing wires.
We offer the following services:
- Casting/retermination of sockets on crane and towing wires, onshore/offshore
- Inspection and spooling of steel wire ropes, up to 250-ton reels, with back tension
- Tensile testing of steel wire ropes, lifting equipment, and ropes
- Splicing of drill lines
- Splicing of mooring lines/fiber ropes
