How do we ensure that all products are always safe and compliant? We collaborate directly with carefully selected manufacturers. They are chosen after thorough screening by our locally present audit team. During such screening, we ensure, among other things:
- A high level of specialization in the production of the product.
- The quality of the production process.
- The quality and source of the raw materials used.
- Whether the manufacturer actively engages in quality control systems and applies them.
- Whether the manufacturer thoroughly tests the products and complies with standards after production.
➕ Regular quality audits
Regular quality audits are conducted after the screening as well. This is done by our local audit team. This team consists of local experts with extensive knowledge of, among other things, (European) standards and laws and regulations.
What are we looking for?
During a quality audit, the team checks the manufacturer on the following points, among others:
- Expertise (in the production of the product).
- Document control, ISO standardization, and other required certificates.
- Working according to established ISO procedures.
- Traceability from finished product to semi-finished product and/or raw material.
- Technical details in the production process: is the product being manufactured correctly?
- Condition of machinery: are all machines in order, what type of maintenance is performed, and are calibrations carried out punctually?
- Availability of testing equipment and standard tests.
- Equipment in the internal testing laboratory, including machine checks and testing methods.
- Description of the processes and whether this corresponds with practice.
